A trip to the hospital

Marcus was down with diarrhea, and after two days of constant bombing of the toilet bowl and self-medication, we decided to visit the doctor.

Now, don't get us wrong. The reason why we did not visit the doctor earlier is that here if Foshan, there are no GPs and no polyclinics. When you are sick, regardless of the severity of your illness, you visit the hospital.

For those back in Singapore who thought our hospitals are bad compared to other countries, honestly you are in a case of 生在福中不知福. Here, there is this ultimate cure-all medicine known as THE DRIP. Fever? Drip. Vomiting? Drip. Headache? Drip. Flu? Drip. Runny nose? Drip. Gastric? Drip. You get my drip? Erm, I mean drift.

This is the dripping area. Haha. Okie, that's just my own name for it. At the wall section, there are baby cots for young children who are on drips. Older kids and adults sit on these wooden chairs and be put on drips. Elderlies, there are beds behind us where they are dripped. Yeah. lots of dripping occur here.

Look at how they hang the saline bags

So back to the 'I-don't-even-know-which-era-I-should-name'

Look at my poor boy. Dunno if it's due to his dressing, or the dripping, or the air. He looks super china chinese uncle here in this picture lor!
