Our Farewell Party

Our families gathered together on 23 May 2009 to have a potluck session, and a gathering, before Marcus and I flew back to Guangzhou. It was a night of good fun, great food and superb company!


Where we got a chance to see our cousins, Megan and Nicholas (our flowergirl and pageboy) playing a tennis match, where even the youngest Sherwyn jumped in to join the fun.


Where adults and kids square up and battle each other in the boxing arena.


Where even the old joined in the fun...


And where Mother and Son can team up!

Oh, and some of you might not have been aware, but the young cousins of Sheryl’s (Song Sian, Megan, and yes, even our just turned two years old SHERWYN!) ganged up to bully Nicholas! Pictures as proof! (PS. Look at the pictures, and you’ll realize that Sherwyn led the bullying! :D)

We are very touched at all your well-wishes to us, the good food which really made it so memorable as these are mostly food that Sheryl can’t cook (cause her cooking is still not to mark) and everyone’s presence made it a truly successful farewell party.

To those who could not make it that day, we missed your company. You missed a great party with fun, food and lots of laughter!

We hoped that all of you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did, and we look forward to a similar one during CNY!

Marcus and I have known each other for 10 years now, and this four years of being together have really taught both of us many many valuable lessons. Not only about each other, but also of ourselves, how to deal with arguments as a couple, how to live together, how to forgive each other's faults and work on them as a team.

We look forward to many many MANY more years together as one...
