Batam Holiday: 18-20 May 2010

We went to Batam for three days together with Alvin and Mayvis. A short getaway and just to rejuvenate ourselves, and get our minds relaxed ready to start work.

Such a coincidence, the two guys wore the same tshirt that we had bought in Hong Kong!

Alvin & Mayvis came for a visit and a holiday... day 7 (27 March 2010)

It's our last day in China.

After staying in Foshan China for 10 months (Marcus stayed for 2 years), it's time to say goodbye.

Foshan, China has given the two of us many many happy memories. It was where we started to learn how to live on our own, away from family and friends. The friends we made here had taught us a lot. We learnt to live and grow in a place where language, culture, people and even the weather is different.

It was where we enjoyed the cold of winter, the crazy wind when monsoon hits, and the hot humid summer. After our time here, we have learnt that Singapore does have its beauty, and at the same time, other countries have its charms.

Goodbye China, we have been here back in 2001, where we lived 2 months of our fantastic youth. And now, we are here again bidding you farewell after (2 years or 10 months). But one thing is for sure, we will definitely be back. You are definitely a place that we can never finish discovering...
